Refried beans and cheddar cheese chips
Oh my, do I love Mexican food! I made chicken soft tacos the other night along with my favorite side dish...round tortilla chips topped with refried beans, melted cheese and salsa!
It's so TASTY and really EASY to make!
Check it out!
First, preheat your oven on 350 degrees and then open a bag of round tortilla chips.
Open a can of refried beans
With a spoon, smear some refried beans on each individual chip like so.
Lay chips nicely on a baking tray.
Grab a bag of shredded cheese. I used a blend.
Sprinkle chips with lots of shredded cheese.
Bake chips in the oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
Oh my...look at these! They are so delicious!
I made some salsa to go on top, but you can just use your favorite brand.
Pile 'em up on your plate along side your taco or burrito and chow down!
My husband and I love these!! They are filling because of the refried beans...having said that, they make a great night time snack for those times when dinner just didn't carry you all the way through to bed time!
Enjoy!
Oh, dear. It's near midnight at the moment and you've just made me very hungry! ;)
