Wow! what a cool looking candy store. Did you make the wind chime? It looks cute. Also the treasures from the washer. I remember it well. I still find money from time to time. Yes I keep it.
Peggy, no, I didn't make the windchimes...I bought them at Pier 1 Imports where I work. They make the prettiest sound ever! I love them...and they kinda look like falling leaves. They were originally $40..but now on clearance and with my discount I got them for a whopping $7!! I was thrilled to say the least!
Oh my gosh! You work at my favorite store! I was just there yesterday. I got a candle and two really cute table runners. One with leaves and one with little spiders.
How fun! This makes me want to turn back time a few years and just run around outside. Maybe I'll make up for that by going to the sweet shop :-) One is never too old for that, right?
Are you enjoying Still Alice? It makes you think doesn't it? In my local paper there was actually an article about early-onset Alzheimers (I know I spelled that wrong). Article was about a man experincing memory loss at 58 - very scary & sad.

Let me know how you enjoy the book.
Love the chicken outside the door, and also the visit to the dime store. Wonderful.
